What are the advantages of online shopping?
The main advantage of shopping online is convenience.
It is appealing to have the ability to go to the store
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the comfort of your
home or office.
What constitutes a quality shopping site?
Quality shopping sites are easy to navigate and have a
minimal download time. They should be clean looking and
uncluttered to ensure you don't waste any time looking
for the product for which you are searching. Of course,
the site should also be fully functional and complete.
Is it safe to shop online?
It is just as safe to shop online as it is to use your
credit card at the local gas station.
Of course you must use discretion in making purchasing
decisions. Just as you shouldn't trust a person on the

How do I purchase an item online?
Click on the graphic image you would like to purchase.
This will take you to a page that displays a button that
says "click to buy"
Some items have more than one selection to make such as
size, colour or team.
If you would like to purchase more than one item, enter
the number of items in the quantity field.
Click on the "Click to Buy" button
This will display your Shopping Cart.
You can either select Continue Shopping or Check Out if
you are finished shopping and would like to proceed with
placing your order.

I tried to add an item to my shopping cart but it is
saying that my shopping cart is empty.
a) Make sure that the URL is displayed in the browser
similar to http://www.lahautecouture.com/australia/index.htm
Sometimes when you access the shopping site from another
area such as http://www.nationalvacation.us/index.htm,
or http://www.businesslead.info/index.htm
there can be a problem when you try to add something
to your shopping cart
b) Make sure that your cookies are enabled.
Cookies can be enabled or disabled by users. In Netscape
4.0 go to the Options/Advanced area, or in Internet Explorer
4.0 in the Internet Options menu. Disabling cookies, however,
may limit access to certain areas of HAUTECOUTURE.
Many users choose to enable cookies but shut off the prompt
that tells them when a cookie is being activated on their
browser. In other words, the cookies work in the background
without any disruption in service.
In Netscape version 3, you can do this by modifying
"Options/Network Preferences/Protocols". In Netscape version
4, go to "Edit/Preferences/Advanced" and a) check the box that
reads "Accept All Cookies"; b) make sure the box that says
"Warn Me Before Accepting a Cookie" is blank. In Internet
Explorer version 3 or 4, shut off the warnings by going to
"View/(Internet) Options/Advanced" and making sure the box
next to "Warn before accepting 'cookies'" is blank.
Shipping Times
The time it takes for you to receive your order depends
on your location, the location of the merchant, and
the shipment method the merchant uses. HAUTECOUTURE
cannot control how long a parcel is in transit, but,
in general, shipments within North America should not
take more than four to six weeks. HAUTECOUTURE is not
the sender of goods and infact we act only as a link
out of our website group to a completly different company
that does transactions. So at all times accept that
we have told you inadvance that you need to send any
complaints to the company that has sold you the goods.
This last paragraph we expect you to read twice so that
you fully uderstand what we have explained to you, well
in advance.
