The Organisers of Intimate London Body & Beach (Oyster Fashion Events Ltd) announced today that they will not be staging an event in February 2006 although the popular summer show will continue to run from 30th July to 1st August 2006 at Earls Court 2, London.

The decision was reached in consultation with other leading trade show organisers in the UK as a result of the congested show calendar, nationally and internationally and in particular the later timing of the major intimate apparel trade show in Paris (Salon International).

Managing Director of Oyster Fashion Events, Robert Thomas, commented on the move. "It was decided after lengthy consultation that staging a February 2006 trade event in London would dilute commercial efforts in an increasingly difficult economic climate. We have therefore resolved for the good of the entire intimate apparel industry, both suppliers and retailers, to stage the highly successful Intimate London Body & Beach show once a year."
