Clean
packing options to make travelling easier
Keeping it clean ... Staying clean
without having to pack products that will mess up your
luggage just got easier. Lush sells shampoo bars. There
is also a travel case available to hold the natural shampoo.

There are a few new products available to help make travelling
a little easier.
The toiletry bag is always the biggest packing burden
-- too big and messy.
For some time now I've been packing Olay daily facials
in a plastic baggy for trips.
The toss-away cloths are dry and only lather once you
put them under the tap, so they won't cause any irritating spills
in your bag.
I also found the product proved easy on the skin, yet
gave a good clean after a day of exploring.
Well, it seems I wasn't the only one who saw the great
travel potential for this product. Olay recently released a
compact travel pack of these great cloths.
"Each refillable pack contains five Olay daily facials,
the first dry, disposable lathering cloths that cleanse, condition
and exfoliate your skin," says a press release.
Most drug and grocery stores carry the product. The travel
pack should retail for under $5.
Shampoo is usually a packing nightmare. It often leaks
or if you're going on a longer trip and need more than a travel-size
bottle (or don't like the stuff hotels provide), then a full-size
bottle takes too much room.
Olay daily facials now come in a
convenient travel size. |
The Body Shop used to sell shampoo bars, but stopped.
But thankfully Lush -- a natural, handmade cosmetic seller
-- has filled the void.
Their shampoo bars are compact, inexpensive (about $8)
and are gentle on your hair. There's even a variety: Jumping
juniper, irresistible bliss, featherweight fruit bar, Dr.
Peppermint and ultimate shine.
There isn't a Calgary store yet. The closest store is
in Banff, or you can call the Vancouver store toll-free at
1888-733-LUSH or order it on their Web site, http://www.lushcanada.com/.
